** What is this page?
There are lots of bots scouring the internet, such as the Google bot, which index pages for use in search engines. These bots are usually intelligent and understand which links in a website go to web pages and which do not.
Unfortunately, there are lots of bots which are either not as intelligent or more abusive which will search a site for pages which don't exist or try to query where it should not. As we take pride in our website, we like to know when real errors are occurring so that we can fix them as soon as possible.
So when these bots scan a site and find all sorts of links that were never meant to be used, we get errors such as "Page not found" reported about them. This can make it hard to spot genuine errors because they are lost in a sea of erroneous issues.
